his flaws are just there to show you he's human,
because you don't really care all that much about

sure, he's changed.
people grow,
but friendship is still the same
and in that moment in time,
something just reeks of pure euphoria

i realized today, that no matter what, i'm going to always care for this kid. i dont have a crush on him anymore, but he's still close to me, and he still matters. i've realized that despite all the stuff thats happened, i am more than happy to be friends with this amazing person. (:

To start off this entry-- MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! (And if you don't celebrate Christmas, I hope you had an awesome holiday.)

i was thinking about it today, how much i love music and all.
and genres, ohhh dear god, genres.
i love most genres-- be it rock, alternative, emo, nineties, eighties, indie, acoustic, jazz, ska, etc.
but what do i love most?
multi-genre bands, or bands that don't exactly fall into a genre.
for example, the bands (not mentioning names) that merge rock with hip-hop and others that mingle with the emo vocals and synth-y beats.
for the most part, the music universe in meshing into one big pot of goodness.
think about it-- years ago, would 50 Cent have collaborated with Simple Plan? i wouldnt bet on it.
but now, look what's going on!
Timbaland recently released an album of him throwing down beats with a plethora of awesome artists-- Fall Out Boy, One Republic and Keri Hilson just for starters.
i never really liked the days when music was as segregated as the Rosa Parks times.
it was like rock and hip-hop were two totally different planets...
...so, like i said, the music industry is changing, day by day, and i can only hope that it will keep going this well.
